Who handles your information

What we collect
When you contact us, we receive the contact details, business information and project details you choose to share. We use them to respond, prepare quotes, deliver agreed services and maintain business records. Please share only information relevant to your request.
You can register a WordPress account, sign in and submit a business application. We store your name, email, business details, contact methods, service and plan choices, timeframe, description and goals in our WordPress database. WordPress stores your password as a hash and uses authentication cookies to keep you signed in. Authorised site administrators can review your application. Accepted customers can review proposals, sign agreements, share project files and manage private access details. Authorised staff can view information for service delivery. Private file contents and saved project credentials are encrypted at rest. Credentials are removed from active storage when requested or when the project finishes, unless you expressly choose retention for future work. Routine backups may retain older records until their normal expiry.
Hosting and service providers
Our website is hosted by WordPress.com. Hosting, security and payment services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and access logs. We use WooCommerce and Stripe for online payment facilities where offered. Payment details are handled by the payment provider; do not email card details to us.
These providers may process information outside Australia. Their own policies explain their processing and storage practices: WordPress.com / Automattic and Stripe. We share information with providers as needed to operate the site, communicate and supply services, or where required by law.
Your browser and external links
We use browser session storage to keep page transitions and interface preferences consistent. WordPress and payment facilities may use cookies for authentication, security and checkout. Your browser lets you manage cookies; blocking essential cookies may prevent those features from working.
Website fonts may load from Google Fonts. Links to social networks and customer websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. Browser push notifications are optional. If you enable them, we store your browser subscription and preferences and use its push service to deliver generic project alerts. You can turn them off in account settings or your browser. Delivery depends on your browser and device settings.
Your records and choices
We keep information for the time needed to handle your enquiry, provide agreed services and meet recordkeeping or dispute requirements. We do not sell your personal information.
Contact admin@ajctec.org or 0430 740 689 to request access, correction or deletion of information we hold. We may need to verify your identity. Some business and transaction records may need to be retained; we will explain any limits on a deletion request. Please do not send passwords or verification codes by ordinary email.
Privacy concerns
Contact admin@ajctec.org or 0430 740 689 with your concern and a way to reach you. We will investigate and respond. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may also be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
